Did your printer at home run out of ink? \u00a0Are you inside the library with your laptop, tablet or smartphone and need to print something? \u00a0Give the Library’s Pharos\u00a0MobilePrint<\/em>\u00a0system a try. \u00a0Using one of the two methods outlined below, you can send documents or photos to MobilePrint<\/em>\u00a0and then release them at the Print Release Station<\/strong> located behind the Reference Desk. \u00a0You’ll need your library card number and PIN to use the system. \u00a0Printing costs ten cents per black and white page<\/strong> and thirty cents per color page<\/strong>. \u00a0MobilePrint<\/em> will work with cards issued by any one of these 52 libraries<\/a> in Nassau.<\/p>\n

NOTE: Funds can be added to your account by using the Add Value Station<\/strong> located near the Reference Desk copier. \u00a0Funds deposited cannot be used at other libraries.<\/p>\n

Option 1: Upload Your Document(s)
\n<\/strong>[Use this option if you have a file system that you can browse, such as a PC, Mac, or Android device]<\/p>\n

  1. Visit https:\/\/print.eastmeadow.info\/myprintcenter<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter your library card number or visitor pass number and PIN.<\/li>\n
  3. Click \"Image\u00a0and browse for your document.<\/li>\n
  4. Highligh the document in your queue to adjust finishing options (B&W, color, double-sided, etc.) using the print options.<\/li>\n
  5. Go to the Print Release Station<\/strong> located behind the Reference Desk and enter your library card number or visitor pass number and PIN.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Option 2: Email Your Document(s)
    \n<\/strong>[Use this option if you can’t browse files with your device (typical of \u00a0iPhones, and iPads) and some Android devices]
    \n<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. From your mobile device, laptop, or desktop, send or forward documents (as attachments) to mobileprint@eastmeadow.info.<\/li>\n
    2. If this is your first time using the service with this email address, you’ll be sent a welcome message instructing you to register your email address by logging into the Library’s Pharos Print Center <\/em>using your library card number and PIN.<\/em><\/li>\n
    3. You will receive a return email showing a list of your submitted documents.<\/li>\n
    4. Print jobs default to black and white, so while logged in to the Pharos Print Center<\/em>, adjust the print options if you want your job to be printed in color.<\/li>\n
    5. Go to the Print Release Station<\/strong> located behind the Reference Desk and enter your library card number or visitor pass number and PIN.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
