The East Meadow Fire Department will be hosting a disaster drive for the victims of Hurricane \u2018Sandy\u2019 beginning on Sunday, November 4th and continuing through the week. \u00a0People wishing to donate may bring their contributions to the East Meadow Fire Department Headquarters located at 197 East Meadow Avenue, East Meadow, which is the firehouse next to the East Meadow Public Library.\u00a0 Items of necessity include bottled water, non-perishable food, clothing (especially jackets), blankets, toiletries, sanitary napkins, flashlights, batteries, as well as diapers, bottles and baby formula.<\/p>\n
